Internship – CEI Science Lab Technician

This 3-month internship is an opportunity for the student to explore careers in maintaining laboratory equipment, to interact with life science entrepreneurs, and to gain valuable experience while working with the team at the new Connect Labs by Wexford.

The intern will be exposed to the set-up & calibration, preventative maintenance and operation of bioscience lab equipment.  Specifically the equipment provided by Thermo Fisher in their Demonstration Lab on the 5th floor.  Interns may also be called upon to assist the resident bioscience start-up companies in their lab set-up as they move into Connect Labs.  Interns will have the opportunity to shadow a Senior Lab Technician as we complete safety and compliance inspections of tenant labs.

Internship – HUG/SaPHE Lab Technician

The Intern at the HUG/SaPHE Lab will assist with daily operations of a pro bono healthcare clinic and maintenance of safe patient handling and mobility lab.   This 3-month internship is an opportunity for the student to explore careers in laboratory science and gain valuable experience.  The intern will gain hands-on experience providing customer service, using multiple software applications, exposure to healthcare management and clinic daily operations, safe patient handling and mobility technology.
